One of the things that I like about these books is that Grey Justice isn't a dominating character from the very beginning of the story. Rather, he enters after the storyline unwind and the bad guys are active. Then Grey Justice and his team enter into the story. There are twists the and turns that you don't expect. The characters have depth and breadth that allows you to get involved.
While each story is a standalone, I plan on going back to the earlier stories to see if the are more hints about Grey Justice and what makes him tick. So, join me and start reading the Grey Justice stories.

I really recommend this book if you like romantic suspense. It had drama and heartbreak but was more light than dark as Kennedy and Nick found friendship and love. The characters, including secondary characters, felt real and interesting, the romance was more romance than sex and there was a build up of the relationship. Strong women and alpha men, adults, part of a series but no cliffhanger, but I do need to read the next book to find out what will happen with the Slater brothers. And, please, do write a book for Grey and Irelyn!

Christy Reece's latest work of art, Nothing To Lose is as action packed as any book she's ever written. It has a fresh new spin on romantic suspense that had me turning pages as fast as my eyes could read. It had mystery, suspense, romance and so much emotion my heart was torn at times. One of my favorite things about Christy as an author is her ability to create and shape her characters in such a way that I feel like I know them personally. Nick and Kennedy are so alive and real!! Christy also does an amazing job with her secondary characters..... I can not express how much I am hoping that Christy continues to write books for the secondary characters in this book. They didn't over shadow Nick and Kennedy's story, but several of her characters reached out and grabbed me from their places in the background.
Needless to say, Nothing To Lose is a must read! It's Christy Reece at her absolute best. Loved this book, loved the characters and can't wait for the next installment.
I liked the way the plot was laid out. Kennedy is smart and courageous and I found myself drawn into her life and her heartache. She doesn't let it take her down, but figures out a way to try and overcome and get justice. I read the book in just a few hours, I did not want lot put it down until I finished it.
While Justice is kind of a Noah in LCR, this is a complete new and very interesting new series from Ms. Reece. There is no dull moment in it, there are lots of twist and surprises. It starts on a sad note and end with a bang. It’s an incredible story that will leave you wanting to know more about some characters.

While Kennedy was the main character and a strong lead, Nick was the perfect balance for her. His volatile nature was muted when she was around, they grounded each other. He was a complete alpha that had to learn to take a back seat and let the love of his life take the risk. Chemistry was play beautifully given that she was very much in love with her late husband and they both had to learn how to move on.

All in all this was another hit from Ms. Reece.

This story starts off with Kennedy as one of the main characters who thought she had the perfect life and a loving husband with a baby on the way. Then in the blink of an eye her husband who is a cop was shot and killed in what is thought to have been a robbery. After hearing that her husband was killer she soon loses their baby. Nick is best friend to her husbands and also a fellow cop. Than Nick realize that thing just don't add up about Thomas's shooting. When he finds out that it was a hit from an informant. But before he could bring the informant in he is also killed. Than something strange happen Nick, gets shot in the head. Almost two years, later a man comes to Nick, says that he knows where Kennedy was, and that they needed his help to take down one of the most powerful men in the state. Kennedy is undercover at one of the offices in a position to get the information they will need. Grey Justice runs an organization where they help get justice for someone they knew or a loved one.

If you are look for something that has a lot of intriguing, and action with romantic and a dash of suspense than you need not go any farther.
